Our long established company occupies
an enclosed level site of 2.5 acres, situated ½ mile from
the Port of Seaham, and within 2 miles of the A19 trunk road permitting
the movement of larger and abnormal loads by sea and road freight.
The Company’s main activity is heavy steel fabrication.
This is carried out by our skilled and long serving workforce
in our modern and well lit fabrication shop of 24,000 sq. ft.
in which the maximum size of fabricated units in one piece is
30 Tonnes 26M length x 7.00m width x 5.75m high, larger units
can be assembled at the Port of Seaham for onward transportation
by sea.
The company is involved as a sub contractor to many of the leading
structural engineering companies, fabricating large volumes of
structural steelwork. plate girders and roof trusses to the demanding
delivery schedules required by our clients.
We are associated with the Marine Industry, producing large
Fabricated Hull Units for various British Shipyards and Cargo
Access Fabrications such as Ship Ro Ro Ramps, Stern Doors and
Hatch Covers, under the supervision of Lloyds Register, DNV and
BV
Quality Assurance is an essential part of our manufacturing
activities. Stringent inspection procedures are followed in accordance
with precise documented plans. Records are maintained to ensure
that the requirements of the applicable codes, standards and contractural
specifications are met in full.
